Teachers work an 11 month contract in accordance with the Thai school year. They are responsible for instructing students of varying age levels and abilities in either Kamala or Kalim schools, following the guidelines of the Foundation’s English language curriculum. Teachers also become involved with Coconut Club, the extra-curricular programme for residential students at Kamala school. This work enables teachers to form lasting bonds with individual students, while enjoying an overall rewarding and enriching experience.
Aside from formal teaching hours, Teachers are expected to give time to lesson planning and materials preparation, as well as Coconut Club activities.
