November, 2010: The Singapore Tatler - Fashion show 'Reach Out to Little Hands'

In November the Singapore Tatler printed photos of guests enjoying the fashion show 'Reach Out to Little Hands'. The event was held at the Residence of HE Paulo Soares, Ambassador of Brazil and Mrs Luisa Soares. The show was kindly supported by MAC, The Hair Shop and BLVD Gallery One.

November, 2010: Phuket Gazette - Coconut Club Event
In November children from Phuket Has Been Good To Us Foundation's Coconut Club had great fun having their photos taken under water in the Palms Hotel's swimming pool whilst dressed in some of their favourite dressing up costumes. The best pictures were used for an underwater calendar sponsored by Mares. The Phuket Gazette covered this in their 13th November issue. The children also got to keep the great Mares rash shirts. November, 2010: The Phuket Tatler - One Night In May
In November Phuket Tatler printed photos of some of the guests enjoying the festivities at One Night In May . The event, the annual fundraiser for Phuket Has Been Good To Us Foundation, is the biggest event of the year. It was held in the Andaman Ballroom of the Sheraton Grande Laguna in May. Guests are already looking forward to next year's event.

September, 2010: Phuket Gazette, The Phuketian - Phuket Property Dot Com Pro Am Invitational

On Friday 5th November the 2010 Phuket Property Dot Com Pro Am Invitational will be held at the Blue Canyon Country Club. This event will bring 30 professional golfers to Phuket to play with 90 amateurs. Media partners, The Phuket Gazette covered the event in their 24th September issue.

September, 2010: Phuket Gazette, Modern Design Architecture & Art, The Guide Phuket - Passion for Fashion

On Sunday 12th September Andara and Silk hosted Passion For Fashion. Stunning local models debuted Marisa Zeman's resort wear collection Nude is Rude. The Phuket Gazette covered the Fashion show in YOUR Phuket. Modern Design Architecture & Art and The Guide Phuket covered the event in their September issues.

July/August, 2010: Modern Design Architecture & Art - One Night In May

Even in August there is still a buzz in the air about the amazing One Night In May event at The Sheraton Grange Laguna. Modern Design Architecture & Art reported that Michael Jackson was spotted at the event in their July/August issue!

May, 2010: Bangkok Post and Phuket Gazette - One Night In May
On Saturday 1st May the Sheraton Grande Laguna hosted the biggest and best fundraiser the Foundation, indeed perhaps Phuket, has ever seen! The Phuket Gazette covered the party on their Happenings page. The night was filled with delicious food, fabulous entertainment and amazing auction and raffle prizes. Tables will be at a premium next year!

April, 2010: Bangkok Post, Phuket Post, Modern Design Architecture & Art and The Greater Phuket Magazine - Coconut Club and One Night In May
The Phuket Post came to Coconut Club and saw some of the residential students painting fans. Each student could paint one fan and keep it for themselves and then they were asked to paint one for their teacher to give to guests at One Night in May - a Fundraiser at the Sheraton Grande Laguna on May 1st. The students did some amazing designs - the guests will enjoy receiving them almost as much as the students enjoyed painting them! The Bangkok Post announced the event in Up&Coming on 8th April. Modern Design Architecture & Art and The Greater Phuket Magazine both advertised the event in their April issues. 

March, 2010: Phuket Gazette - Coconut Club Event
The JW Marriott Phuket Resort and Spa hosted an activity day for 20 lucky orphans from Kamala School. The day started with the children trying out 'Circus Art', they then had great fun cooking their own lunch, followed by a trip to the Turtle Awareness Centre to learn all about these amazing reptiles and how they can help protect them.

January, 2010: Bangkok Post - The Phuket Has Been Good To Us Foundation
On 5th January the Bangkok Post printed an article New wave of education after the tsunami by Fraser Morton. The article talks about why the Foundation was initially set up after the Asian tsunami and highlights the work that the Foundation is doing in Kamala and Kalim Schools. The article describes how children in Phuket are being given a chance to a better future because of the Foundation.
