A major donor since 2012 Anantara Vacation Club Mai Khao Phuket sponsors the Kindy Class at The Rajaprachanukroh 36 School, Kamala. Teacher Violeta Martin teaches English to the kindergarten children who are aged between 5 and 7 years old. Angsana Laguna Phuket, together with Laguna Phuket were the major sponsors of our 2017 fundraising event Pop Up 3 at Latitude with Angsana. With their support, we raised over 900,000 THB from the evening. Angsana Laguna Phuket also generously donates vouchers for our other fundraising events.

Baan Rim Pa Restaurant Group has been a major donor since 2006. It was the owner of Baan Rim Pa, Mr McNamara, who set up Phuket Has Been Good To Us as a Thai registered charity in 2006. Baan Rim Pa Restaurant Group sponsor the English Programme and Teacher Julie Midden at Kalim School. They also generously donate vouchers for all of our fundraising events.

     Bluesiam Beach Club

Bluesiam Beach Club will host our major fundraising event Pop Up 4 on 17th March 2018. The beautiful beach club will be the venue for the fourth Pop Up evening which brings together the best chefs on the island to raise funds for our English education programme.

Bluesiam Beach Club is located at the southern end of Bangtao Beach. It has a seafront which can be booked to organise private parties,weddings and birthdays, and also organises parties at the weekend.

    Class Act Media

Class Act Media has been a major donor since 2012. Class Act Media has provided us with print & online media and radio coverage through Phuket News, Live 89.5 and recently their Russian, Chinese and Thai publications Novosti Phuketa, Pujidao Xinwen and Khao Phuket.

Founded in 2009, Class Act Media is Southern Thailand’s most comprehensive media company, incorporating newspapers and magazines, radio, tv, numerous websites an online ticketing service and events organization. Class Act Media delivers high quality media services to residents and tourists in Phuket and all across Southern Thailand.

    Destination Wedding Planners Congress

The 4th Annual Destination Wedding Planners (DWP) Congress was held at Laguna Phuket in 2017. DWP Congress chose Phuket Has Been Good To Us as their charity of choice for this event, and now sponsors our Senior Teacher, Jerlin Balais, who teaches at Kamala School. 5 talented senior school students who we teach English to at The Rajaprachanukroh 36 School, Kamala, showcased traditional Thai dances for the attendees at the Gala Dinner. 

Recognized as the strongest business platform in the destination wedding industry, the DWP Congress is a one of a kind exclusive initiative that brings together the world’s biggest celebrity wedding planners, royalty specialist & destination wedding experts under one roof to meet with a lavish spread of creative partners and wedding suppliers.

    Grand Himalai

Grand Himalai, major donor since 2016, donated funds to purchase teaching supplies to truly make a difference to the learning environment for all of our students at all three of our schools: Kalim School, The Rajaprachanukroh 36 School, Kamala, and The Anuban Kamala School.

The Grand Himalai project is located on the Millionaire Mile Road in Kamala Beach, probably the most exclusive coast of Phuket where top 5 star resorts and multi-million dollar villas are situated. The project is developed to maximize the ocean view and will offer 5 star facilities including a clubhouse, restaurants, kids club, fitness club, and much more.

     Island Technology

Island Technology supports the foundation in different ways, including by hosting their email server, advising on technological issues and supporting fundraising events. For our latest event, the Melbourne Cup Brunch 2017, Island Technology kindly provides their expertise and resources to ensure high-speed and high-quality connections.

Island Technology is a supplier of Internet Services and IT solutions on Phuket Island. The company supplies and supports high quality products and services for businesses, educational and private users.

    Jean Paul & Kantaya Reuille

Jean-Claude and Kantaya Reuille , are major donors since 2014 when their asked guests to donate to our charity rather than give them wedding gifts. They continue to give back each year, currently sponsoring Teacher Diego Demaria’s Primary year 6 English class at The Rajaprachanukroh 36 School, Kamala. Teacher Diego also runs Coconut Club, the afterschool programme for children who have to live full time at the school.

Nigel Plaskett, owner of the Ocean Emerald Superyacht Charter, has donated his yacht for a day to raise funds for the foundation this December. The yacht will leave Ao Po Marina for a Sunset Cruise around Phang Nga Bay and guests will be treated to delicious food and beverages.

Ocean Emerald is a modern luxury yacht imagined by British architect firm Norman Foster and brought to life in 2009. It has four decks connected by a spiral glass staircase, and includes five elegant suites which can accommodate up to 12 people. Guests can customize their journey and enjoy meals and drinks on the yacht. 

    Phuket Condos and Homes

Phuket Condos & Homes Co., Ltd. major donor since 2014, sponsor Teacher Iuliia Sorokin who teaches English at The Rajaprachanukroh 36 School, Kamala. Teacher Iuliia also runs Coconut Club, the afterschool programme for children who have to live full time at the school. Phuket Condos & Homes also donated bathing suits for Coconut Club children to wear for Saturday swimming sessions.

    The Chava Resort - Surin Beach

The Chava Resort - Surin Beach, Phuket, has been a major donor since 2016 and generously sponsors Teacher Vezah Rojas’ English Integrated Studies (EIS) Primary year 1 class at The Rajaprachanukroh 36 School, Kamala. The children in Primary 1, 2 and 3 in the EIS programme not only receive English classes from our teachers, but also learn Mathematics and Science in English.
