Australian Chambers of Commerce

AustCham Thailand’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) project will be sponsoring our Primary 2 EIS classes in Kamala School for a semester from May 2020. AustCham Thailand have been long term supporters of Phuket Has Been Good To Us, working with us on our International Women’s Day Luncheons.

Baan Rim Pa Restaurant Group

Baan Rim Pa Restaurant Group has been a major donor since 2006. It was the owner of Baan Rim Pa, Mr. McNamara, who set up Phuket Has Been Good To Us as a Thai registered charity in 2006. Baan Rim Pa Restaurant Group sponsors the entire English Programme at Kalim School. They also generously donate vouchers for all of our fundraising events. Chutimon Coffee & Art

Chutimon Coffee & Art has been sponsoring our Foundation since early 2018. This coffee shop and gallery sponsors the Primary 5 English classes in the Rachaprachnukroh 36 School in Kamala. Chutimon Coffee & Art is a local favorite, serving delicious coffees along with Thai and International menu items in Thalang.

Creative Concept AV

Creative Concept AV (CCAV), has supported us for multiple fundraising events since 2013. Creative Concept AV provides event design, decoration, audio and visual to ensure our events run smoothly and professionally. With their support we raised over 900,000 THB from Pop Up 3 at Latitude with Angsana. With offices in Thailand, Singapore and Australia, CCAV prides itself on providing cutting edge technology services to all of their customers. Their trained technology professionals will support you in events ranging from small board meetings to global conferences with hundreds of attendees.

Giving Back Association

Phuket Has Been Good To Us has had our financial efficiency and good governance rated by Giving Back Association and we are delighted to be listed and rated on their website with a 4 Star Badge. Giving Back Association is a not-for-profit organization, registered under NGO number 5374/2557 on December 22, 2014 in Thailand with the purpose of supporting charities in Thailand and the surrounding region. They help individual and corporate donors find information on charities and foundations in the region that fit their philanthropic goals. They also help interested supporters find information on nonprofit governance, financial efficiency and transparency.

Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa

Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa has been a major donor since 2018, generously fundraising on our behalf and coordinating guest speakers for our English club at Kamala School. Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa offers breathtaking views of Karon beach and is one of the most comprehensive MICE and events venues in Southeast Asia.

Island Technology

Island Technology has supported the foundation in several different ways by hosting our former email server, advising on technological issues and supporting fundraising events. For the Melbourne Cup Brunch 2017, Island Technology kindly provided their expertise and resources to ensure high-speed and high-quality connections. Island Technology is a supplier of Internet Services and IT solutions on Phuket Island. The company supplies and supports high quality products and services for businesses, educational and private users.

Jean-Claude & Kantaya Reuille
Jean-Claude and Kantaya Reuille, have been major donors since 2014 when they asked wedding guests to donate to our charity rather than give them wedding gifts. They continue to give back each year, currently sponsoring Teacher Iulia's Primary year 6 English class at The Rajaprachanukroh 36 School, Kamala. .
Kay & Andy Hunter and Family
Kay and Andrew Hunter, major donors since 2014, sponsor Teacher Sapeer’s English Integrated Studies (EIS) Primary year 2 class at The Rajaprachanukroh 36 School, Kamala. The children in Primary level in the EIS programme not only receive English classes from our teachers, but also learn Mathematics and Science in English.
Laguna Phuket

Laguna Phuket has supported our Foundation for years by providing host venues for fundraising events and vouchers for silent auctions. Live 89.5 and Phuket News have been major donors since 2012. Both media sources have provided us with print & online media and radio coverage through Phuket News, Live 89.5 and recently their Russian, Chinese and Thai publications Novosti Phuketa, Pujidao Xinwen and Khao Phuket. Founded in 2009, Class Act Media is Southern Thailand’s most comprehensive media company, incorporating newspapers, magazines, radio, TV, numerous websites, online ticketing service and event organization. The Phuket News delivers high quality media services to residents and tourists in Phuket and all across Southern Thailand.


MontAzure is a long time supporter of the Foundation and helps us support English education through multiple avenues. Most notably, they sponsor the English Integrated Studies Programme for Primary 3 at Kamala school. The Chava Resort - Surin Beach

The Chava Resort at Surin Beach in Phuket is proudly one of our class sponsors, sponsoring the English education for one of our Primary 3 classes at The Rajaprachanukroh 36 School, Kamala. Since 2014, Two Chefs has been supporting our Foundation in every way possible. From donating vouchers to every fundraising event, to sponsoring the English education of Primary 1 students at Kamala School, Two Chefs Catering and Two Chefs Restaurants truly care about the underprivileged children of Phuket. As one of Phuket's most famous restaurants, Two Chefs Bar and Grill prides itself on serving a wide range of delectable international cuisines in a modern and creative style. Having an event? Australians in Phuket
Australians in Phuket partner on some of PHBGTU’s fundraising events and support marketing and outreach efforts.
Direct Aid Program

The Australian Embassy's International Development Fund of the Direct Aid Program (DAP) is funding the English Integrated Studies Pilot Programme for Primary School Classes at Kamala School.

Dusit Thani
Dusit Thani provides their facilities to host birthday parties for the residential students. They donate food and drinks as well as staff time from their dedicated workers for the children.

Global Giving

Phuket Has Been Good to Us has been vetted and approved by GlobalGiving! We're pleased to announce that we're now recognized partners of GlobalGiving.

The international charitable network has recognized Phuket Has Been Good To Us’s due diligence, meaning it has recognized our Foundation as a proper, legal, and morally responsible organization.  We are permanently featured on GlobalGiving’s website, where we have the potential to benefit from corporate relationships, connect with new donors, and have access to online fundraising tools. The greatest advantage to our partnership is that donors from the US and UK can now claim their tax back as GlobalGiving is a registered charity in both of these countries.

Good Shepherd Phuket

PHBGTU and Good Shepherd work together closely to organise common fundraising events.

Kamala Green Club

PHBGTU is a member of the Kamala Green Club. We attend regular meetings and support campaigns to make Kamala greener, among others beach cleaning events.

Orborjor (Local Council)

We work with the local council to provide high-quality English language education at our partner schools in Phuket.

Phuket International Woman's Club

The Phuket International Woman’s Club can count several of PHBGTU’s board members among their own, and frequently offers support to the foundation on different occasions.

Rotary Club of Patong Beach

The Rotary Club of Patong Beach and PHBGTU mutually support each other with fundraising events and marketing campaigns.


We teach in three governmental schools, Rajaprajanukroh 36, Baan Kalim School and Anuban Kamala School, which are the main partners of the foundation. They integrate our teachers into their teaching schedule and team, they provide facilities and classroom support and they partner with us on many different extra-initiatives such as beach cleaning and Coconut Club events.


Skal Thailand has kindly supported the foundation with fundraising events in the past. 

Tourism Authority of Thailand

The Tourism Authority of Thailand endorsed a number of PHBGTU’s fundraising events in the past, including the Pro Am Golf Tournament.

WorldKoins - Small Change Conversion App

 WorldKoins App has partnered with Phuket Has Been Good To Us Foundation by making us a charity of choice on the app, allowing you to put leftover currency to a good cause. Small change never made such a big impact. 

M Society

Our Foundation was accepted into the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security in 2019. This partnership with the M Society is recognition from the Thai government that we are helping the children and youth in Thailand. With this membership, we are able to ask for project funding and support while expanding our network within the country we serve.

Weber State University - School of Computing

Dr. Richard Fry  and his students from the Weber State University’s School of Computing  support the foundation with a range of different projects, most importantly the development of our former website.
