Wedding Donations

There are a number of ways to incorporate your philanthropic side into your wedding.

For Wedding and Events Planners

You can make a big difference in the lives of the children we teach! If you have clients who wish to give back, we hope you will consider presenting us as your charity of choice in Thailand. Not only will this look great to your clients from a corporate social responsibility standpoint, it will also have a huge impact on the futures of our students.

Making a difference to these children is easy

These days, many couples are connecting vows and values, creating unique ways to incorporate charitable giving during their wedding celebration.

Take supporters Jean-Claude and Kantaya Reuille, who requested their wedding guests donate to PHBGTU Foundation in lieu of gifts. Thanks to the generosity of this incredible couple and their guests, over 600,000 baht was raised!

One of our past English teachers, Stephanie Bossert and her husband Ellis, asked their wedding guests to help them raise money for the Foundation. With the amount kindly donated by friends and family, Stephanie was able to purchase teaching supplies for her classroom at Kamala school and Coconut Club!

By supporting our local Thai registered charity, Phuket Has Been Good To Us, you are adding a unique touch to your special day while brightening the future of disadvantaged children in Phuket. If you and your partner are considering charitable giving as part of your wedding day, please email

PHBGTU has also been involved in other wedding related activities:

Honeyteering”: We’ve got so much love to give!

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) knows that many newlyweds today wish to start their married life together with a fulfilling volunteering experience in Thailand. In 2014, TAT ran a contest offering the winning couple an exclusive seven-day Honeyteering Trip to Thailand. Phuket Has Been Good To Us was honoured to have been chosen as one of the participating charities.

In May 2017 PHBGTU also was chosen as the charity of choice by the 4th annual Destination Wedding Planners Congress which was held in Phuket.
